BRICS Innovation Base Economic Cooperation Matching Event – Successfully Concludes Special Session on New Industrialization and New Productive Forces
On December 13, a project matchmaking event themed “New Industrialization and New Productive Forces” was held at the Red Dot Design Museum in Xiamen. Thirty-one senior UN diplomats from 29 countries gathered at the BRICS Innovation Base in Xiamen, joining representatives from over 10 new industrialization enterprises with various honors, including “National High-Tech Enterprises,” “National Specialized and Innovative ‘Little Giant’ Enterprises,” and “Provincial Specialized and Innovative SMEs,” from across Fujian Province. Together, they engaged in in-depth discussions on collaboration opportunities in the field of new productive forces.

At the event, five representative enterprises in the field of new productive forces delivered dynamic roadshows, showcasing their unique advantages and strong willingness to expand overseas through vivid case studies and detailed product presentations. Broad Vision (Xiamen) Technology Co., Ltd. showcased its latest achievements in intelligent manufacturing; Cesium Promethium Technology Co., Ltd. introduced a construction industry Internet platform based on “building products,” which is revolutionizing traditional business models in the construction sector; and Xiamen Ruiju Medical Technology Co., Ltd. provided a comprehensive overview of its latest breakthroughs and future development plans in the biomedicine field.

In the subsequent networking session, the 31 UN diplomats engaged in discussions with the representatives of new productive forces enterprises from the BRICS Innovation Base, exploring potential collaboration in areas such as technology exchange and market expansion.

This event, as an important ancillary activity of the 2024 United Nations Sustainable Development China Practice Series Training — New Industrialization and New Productive Forces Seminar, was hosted by the Xiamen BRICS Innovation Base Construction Leading Group Office and organized by Red Dot Design (Xiamen) Brand Operations Co., Ltd. It aims to implement the Global Development Initiative, inject new momentum into BRICS cooperation, and create new opportunities for South-South cooperation.
The organizers stated that this event not only built a communication bridge between UN representatives and new productive forces enterprises at the BRICS Innovation Base, but also provided new insights into advancing global new industrialization processes and improving the effectiveness of productivity.
